New Beginnings

Thank you for visiting our website.

In 2019 Scugog Island United Church celebrated over 150 years of ministry. We looked to our past and gave thanks for the many ways we have been able to inspire, comfort, encourage, and feed (both spiritually and physically) the people of our community.

We knew that 2020 would be a new beginning for us. And it certainly has been. Responding to the challenges of COVID-19 have forced us to take the church beyond the walls of the sanctuary in ways we have never done before: we began having zoom meetings to continue fellowship time, we launched The Scugog Island Bulletin a weekly newsletter with content to help people worship at home, we shared information on our Facebook page, and this website was made.

Looking to the future we believe God has a plan for this church and we are excited to see where God will lead us on this journey. We  welcome you to join with us as you make your own faith journey. God bless you.
